To wrap up Unit 2 of our CKLA Knowledge curriculum about the Five Senses, students in Mrs. Solly’s class became Five Senses Detectives! 🕵️♂️
We investigated the world around us through a variety of fun activities - taste testing, an outdoor scavenger hunt, identifying secret smells, touching mystery items, and listening to hidden sounds. 👀👂👃👅✋
Needless to say, we discovered we have some superb detectives in Room K04! 🌟

Our second graders have truly brewed up success this quarter! From tackling tough lessons to showing perseverance each day, they did a LATTE hard work! Today they celebrated in style with their very own Starbooks reading party! 📚✨ We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what they’ll “pour” into next quarter! 💚

Our first graders had a wonderful day learning and exploring at Winton Woods Equestrian Center. Students enjoyed a wagon ride, meeting a pony, petting goats and sheep, learning about a chicken, walking through the garden, and choosing a pumpkin to take home.🚜🐑🐓
After our learning activities, we wrapped up the day with time on the playground and exploring more of the farm. It was a memorable day full of hands-on learning and fun!🫶🏼🤩

Our 2nd grade Grand-Person Day was FANTASTIC! The students picked a book, made a picture frame, got their picture taken and enjoyed punch & cookies. Thank you to everyone for coming! ❤️

Preschoolers in Mrs. Sturgeon's class had fun learning about the letter Aa, Johnny Appleseed, and apples this week! We sorted by colors, learned positional words, sequenced events, made comparisons, talked about opposites, explored the life cycle of an apple, and even got to make our own yummy apple pies in a cup! 🍏 😋 🍎






Today we celebrated students GREAT behavior for the first 9 weeks with popsicles and extra recess!
